5 Breakfast Making Machines That Really, Actually Exist

I'm not denying that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and to be honest, the best. I do, however, question the need for a meal to have its own appliance. Here are five gadgets that you could actually buy right now, if you prefer to combine all your real appliances into a kitschy little package.

Nostalgia 3-in-1 Family Size Breakfast Station, from $69.98

Currently taking the internet by storm, this appliance is rocking a toaster oven, a griddle, and a coffee pot, all in one. Plus, its retro styling brings that '50s diner feel right to your kitchen. Pair it with a Smeg mini-fridge to complete the look.

Okay, I will relent that this one seems to be useful in a few situations where your kitchen is limited: a camper, a studio, or dorm (but seriously, check your school's policies before plugging in a griddle in your room #firecodes).

Smart Breakfast Master Toaster, $74.79

If you're the egg-and-soldiers type, this toaster is for you. It has a steamer on the side to cook up to six eggs at once.

Cuisinart Breakfast Express Waffle/Omelet Maker, $129

If you're worried a waffle maker won't get enough action in your house, perhaps this eggy upgrade will convince you otherwise. It actually has a dual switch so you can use the waffle part and the griddle part at the same time. And the griddle isn't just for omelets—you can make sandwiches, fry eggs, or make pancakes. I may have just convinced myself I need one.

Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker, from $23.99

I love a good breakfast sandwich as much as the next person, but let's think about how often you'd need to make them to make storing this appliance worth it. If you've got a daily BEC habit, by all means, unitask away. If you're thinking, "If only I could make TWO breakfast sandwiches at once," don't worry, they've got you covered.

Hamilton Beach Breakfast Burrito Maker, $24.99

If you prefer your portable breakfasts with a little south of the border flair, perhaps the breakfast burrito maker is more your style. The manufacturer points out that it will also whip up pancakes, omelets, crepes, and personal pizzas. I do think it would be fun to pretend you're at Chipotle while your tortilla warms, though.
