Back to the Future: Samsung TL9

We are irritated when hipsters dress in 80's fashions. We are delighted when digital cameras feature analog gauges, as seen in our previous post on Samsung's turn to gauges. We are complicated people.

Samsung's TL9 has lots of stuff you need in a camera (10 megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom, optical image stabilization), and also some cool bonuses we haven't seen before. In addition to the ability to play movies and music (MPEG, AVI, MOV, WMV, ASF, WAV and MP3), the camera's Blink Detection feature prevents the shooter from taking a photo while the subject's eyes are closed.--Taylor

More after the jump...

The camera's analog gauges are a fun addition, though it would be nice to see them display photo settings (rather than the battery life and memory status of the SD card). Available September 2008.
