How To: Mask the Eyesore in the Room

More than likely when renters move into their new pad, they're likely to find that the landlord didn't provide them with the light bulb globes for the ceiling. To cover-up this huge eyesore, we've come up with a quick solution to this blaring problem.

And with all this added lamp shade talk we decided it was perfect timing to show you how to make your own room more interesting with this unique lamp shade idea.

Supplies you'll need.

The wire is left at a longer length to show where where to hang the circle clips.

Let's see how we got here...

You'll first want to grab your supplies. You will need picture hanging wire and circle clips. We used two circle clips for our lightweight shade but depending on the weight of your shade you may end up needing a few more clips to distribute the weight.

Next we took two separate pieces of wire and wrapped it around opposite sides of the lamp shade harness. The two other ends of the wire are then wrapped around the two circle clips.

Finally, clamp each circle clip to the ceiling base. This idea is perfect for when you end up with a favorite lamp shade from a broken base.
