Some people have their whole lives centered around iPhones and iPods. It's no wonder that DLO has decided to come up with a solution to stream videos from your iPod to your HDTV and upscale them to 720p/1080i quality. Naturally, this isn't the only thing that this dock does. It's also a traditional dock which can be integrated seemlessly into your home theater system.

If you are looking for a way to access your iPod via your HDTV, this is the way to go. THe DLO Homedock Pro will do exactly as advertised. It also has an HDMI and optical digital audio ports, giving you a digital connection between your music player and your home theater AV system. There is even an RS-232 control port for hifi systems. It also comes with a remote.

In our experience, upscaling videos to HD rarely works well. The quality is never how we would like it to be. However, the Homedock is pretty expensive, meaning that it may do exactly as advertised. But we don't think that it will work miracles. Still, this is a great plug and play solution for those of you looking for a simple solution to your docking woes, especially concerning the videos that we all have on our iPods. The key is to having videos that aren't too compressed. That way the results will be a lot better. [via DVice]
