Power strips are usually near the heart of our gadget-centered lives. All our gizmos need power in order to work. Most of them need to be recharged. Most power strips are cumbersome and problematic, especially if you have large AC adapters, that don't fit well together. Who hasn't had to plug in one, and realized that you're actually taking up two plugs on a power strip, because of the shape of the power plug?

This donut shaped power strip is designed by Ramei Keum. This ingenious circular design solves most problems that you'll have with large AC power adapters. Each outlet can spin inside the socket for the best fit. The donut shape also helps in organizing cabling and keeping things nice and tidy. It also has a nice large on/off switch, enabling you to just turn the whole thing off.

We thought that the donut shaped power strip is a novel idea. It's not groundbreaking, but it does solve a few problems that you can have when charging up your gadgets. We hate wasting outlets, and the donut shape enables us to use all of them instead of just a few. Less power strips equals less clutter and less cables. [via Yanko Design]
