If you're planning on doing any traveling during the holidays, then no doubt your child's favorite toy or blanket is on your list of things to pack. But what measures do you take to make sure that same toy or blanket makes it safely back home? If, like us, a cold chill runs down your spine at the thought of explaining to your little one that the toy they've taken to bed every single night for three years is, ahem, "no longer with us", then you might want to have a lost toy contingency plan. Fortunately, Erin at Wee Baby Stuff has one already written up...

Among the many excellent tips Erin suggests is this one:

Be prepared to offer a reward, for example "$50 and good Karma to the person who finds..." (Think $50 is too much? How much is 2 weeks of sleepless nights worth to you?)

Good point. Maybe make that a hundred bucks.
