Looking for some out-of-the-ordinary DIY ideas? British shop Ghost Furniture is a good place to start. Like Dr. Frankenstein, they revive once-dead furniture by combining a hodgepodge of parts into a new creature. Items are constructed from antiques and flea market finds treated with new coats of paint, new upholstery, and new appendages. Click below for a few examples...

Vintage Cutlery + Antique Frame = Eat 9 Frame
Antique Side Table + Corner of Lace = Laced Up Table
Salon Chair + Riding Jacket = Miss Anne Chair
Antique Bench + Russian Linen = Salon Chaise
Antique Frame + Patisserie Tins = Petit Patisserie Frame
Leather Chair + Gold Embroidery = Retro Chic
