It's been called the "MySpace for Kids" and the "Facebook for Babies." Our local news described it as "social networking for babies" so we had to check it out. Although their mission is slightly different from Facebook or MySpace, Totspot writes of themselves on their blog, "our goal is offer parents something similar, the ability to say: 'This is who my child is.' "

Parents sign up for an account and get a private page for their child. They can journal, write down all of those significant firsts, and upload photos and videos. It does seem like a good way to connect with family and friends who are far away. Family and friends can even contribute if they like so grandma could write her own take on your tot's first birthday. Not sure if that's good or bad? Anyone used Totspot?
