What To Do With a Broken Pot

What To Do With a Broken Pot

Pots for the garden can be expensive, so when one cracks, you can turn it around and pretend like it's not there. But once a whole chunk of the pot is gone, you can no longer stay in denial. That's why we love this idea from Sunset because it gives your pretty container a second chance:

If you're lucky enough to have a bit of soil to plant in, put the pot on its side and either bury part of it, or just rest it there. You might need to hammer away some of the pot to make it rest flat. Then use it decoratively to grow your plants out of. Use annuals that have some leg to them so that it looks as though they're spilling out of the pot. As always, don't be afraid to use succulents!

Thanks to mom who clipped this idea from Sunset Magazine and shared it with us.
