We all need iPod and iPhone docks, but here at Unplggd, we firmly believe that such docks and speakers should be wireless. Wireless docks and speakers just cut down on the clutter and the messy wires, and make things a lot easier when dealing with speaker systems. Philippe Starck is well known in industrial design. He makes strikingly beautiful designs. Today, he just unveiled a new set of wireless speakers for Parrot.

Starck's new sleek speakers are made for Parrot and have a docking station for an iPod or iPhone. They also have surround sound technology and a broad range of wireless capabilities. The two speakers radiate sound from both sides can be placed anywhere in a room. Naturally, you won't be dealing with any wires. These minimalistic speakers are about 2.5 feet tall, so they are perfect for when you are lounging on a sofa or on sitting at your desk.

What's really nice about these speakers are their minimal design and the height of the whole setup. iPod docks are usually quite small and demure. This one fits with any modern decor and puts the emphasis on the iPod or iPhone, which is kind of cool. We think that this is a really great dock that looks incredibly good. Naturally, with most good looking docks, the only problem will be the price. The fact of the matter remains that wireless docks are also quite expensive for now.
