Best Calendars for Kids

Nov 14, 2008

As 2008 winds down, we're looking ahead to next year and that means picking out a calendar. We've looked around and chosen some of our favorite calendars with kid appeal. These aren't the most useful for tracking appointments and such, but you can circle important dates to look forward to and begin explaining the concepts of days, months, weeks, seasons and years to your little ones. They also make beautiful artwork for your walls.

Animals by Story by Mia ($22).

Letterpress Poster by Sycamore Press ($35). Also available in red and chartreuse. 50% of proceeds benefit AHOPE, an orphanage for children who are HIV+ in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Funny Birds by Modern Pop (also available is Funny Cats) ($18).

Printable Giftable by Blue Tricycle ($5 for pdf file to print yourself)

Letters of the Month by Be Happy Now ($30 or smaller version for $17).

Calendar by Creative Thursday ($38).

Do you have a favorite kid-friendly calendar we should know about? Let everyone know in the comments.
