While there are plenty of sales to browse this Memorial Day, there is one big purchase that you may want to take some time to seriously consider: a new mattress. Memorial Day sales are traditionally about whites—think sheets, comforters, and mattresses. These days, just about everything goes on sale, but it’s still a big weekend for mattresses—the Black Friday for the sleep people, basically. Which means there are plenty of deals to choose from over the long weekend. And thanks to the proliferation of bed-in-a-box retailers, you can even get a new mattress without leaving your home.

Not sure where to start? Read our guide to buying mattresses here.

Leesa Our top pick from our 2018 mattress guide, Leesa is offering an exclusive deal for AT readers: $160 off all sizes of its signature mattress and $235 off their newer Sapira, a premium foam/spring hybrid.

Helix – The bed-in-a-box trend kicked off with Casper claiming one mattress does well enough for just about everybody. Helix goes the other way, with infinitely customizable options starting at $600. For Memorial Day, get $100 off all mattresses with the code MDW100. Get $150 off if you pair the mattress with something else, like a sheet set or pillow, with code MD150.

Allswell Get 15% off the entire site, including either of Allswell’s two mattresses: A foam mattress with a built-in plush topper, or a medium-firm alternative paired with coils for a bit less sink. Apartment Therapy readers also can get two free standard pillows with mattress purchase. Add the pillows and mattress to your cart and use code “MDAT15.”

Layla – Feeling indecisive? Layla’s mattresses can be flipped for a firmer or softer sleeping experience. For a limited time, all mattresses are $100 off and come with a free pillow that includes the same copper cooling technology.

Purple – From the people who brought you a mattress that is made with the same technology as Dr. Scholl’s, sheets that are made from bamboo—and still stretchy. Get the sheets free with the mattress while supplies last (up to a $129 value).

Tomorrow Sleep – A relative newcomer in the ever-growing bedding world, Tomorrow Sleep is backed by Serta, a veteran in the mattress biz. They sell two beds in a box: a hybrid and a memory foam. You can get $150 off both using the code “SLUMBER” at checkout.

Nolah – Specifically designed for side-sleepers, Nolah is running a number of Memorial Day deals and bundles that can save you up to $323, including $15 off the original 10 inch mattress with code “ORIGINAL” at checkout.

Eight Sleep – This smart mattress tracks your sleep and lets you adjust the temperature on each side of the bed so you and your partner can sleep at your preferred temperatures, even if they’re wildly different. Their Memorial Day offer is valued at $200—$50 off any of their three mattresses, plus two free pillows.

Wayfair The mega-retailer has everything—including its own mattress brand. The Nora, a foam mattress with layers of support and cooling topper, is currently 28% off in all sizes.
